Educational Qualification & Experience
Master's degree in Social Science or any other relevant discipline. Preference will be given to candidates having an MPH degree.
Working experience with UNFPA-supported projects in collaboration with Government of Bangladesh health systems will be considered an added advantage.
Candidates should have at least three (03) years of working experience in public health, particularly in Sexual and Reproductive Health (SRH) and Family Planning (FP) programmes under national or international non-governmental organizations.
Job Responsibilities
Under the guidance of CIPRB and in collaboration with UNFPA, the Project Coordinator will provide technical and programmatic support, supervision, monitoring and coordination for SRHR-related interventions in project areas. The incumbent will work closely with DGFP, DGHS, DGNM, City Corporations, BGMEA, BKMEA, PCB, DGDA, BCDS and other stakeholders to strengthen SRHR service access, quality and utilization in urban settings.
A. Program Management
- Oversee the day-to-day implementation of SRHR, FP and nutrition interventions across project areas ensuring alignment with work plans and donor requirements.
- Coordinate with DGFP, DGHS, DGNM, City Corporations, BGMEA, BKMEA, PCB, DGDA, BCDS and other stakeholders to ensure seamless programme implementation.
- Support resource mobilization including availability and distribution of FP commodities, SBCC materials and essential supplies.
- Facilitate coordination meetings, technical consultations and stakeholder workshops.
- Support operationalization of digital health solutions including Komlaphul Pharmacy Application, Digital Monitoring Tools, Baseline and Endline Survey Applications.
- Ensure effective rollout, utilization and troubleshooting of digital applications across project sites.
B. Capacity Building
- Plan, organize and facilitate training, orientation, refresher sessions and on-the-job mentoring for service providers, pharmacists, counselors and relevant stakeholders on SRHR, FP, PPFP, nutrition and related services.
- Strengthen the technical competencies of RMG health service providers and pharmacists to ensure quality SRHR service delivery in line with national standards.
- Provide technical guidance and supportive supervision to improve service quality and ensure adherence to clinical protocols.
- Identify capacity gaps and develop targeted capacity-building plans to address identified needs.
- Provide training and orientation to pharmacists and pharmacy staff on the use of the Komlaphul Pharmacy Application.
- Train SRHR counselors and RMG health service providers on the Digital Monitoring Tool and Baseline & Endline Survey Application to ensure proper data entry and utilization.
C. Supervision & Monitoring
- Conduct regular field visits to monitor programme implementation, service performance and adherence to quality standards across RMG health facilities, urban health facilities and pharmacies.
- Oversee the use of the Digital Monitoring Tool (DMT) and ensure data quality, accuracy and completeness across all service delivery points.
- Supervise the proper use of the Komlaphul Pharmacy Application to track FP commodity distribution, sales and client data.
- Supervise administration and data collection through the Baseline & Endline Survey Application to measure programme impact and progress.
- Conduct routine Data Quality Assessments (DQA), identify service gaps and recommend corrective actions for service improvement.
- Strengthen referral linkages between RMG health facilities, pharmacies, urban health facilities and government service delivery points.
- Promote and monitor referrals for LARC/PM services, maternal health services and other specialized SRHR services, ensuring appropriate documentation and follow-up.
- Support community awareness and demand-generation activities including courtyard sessions, group discussions, mothers' assemblies and SRHR fairs while engaging community leaders, RMG management and stakeholders.
D. Reporting & Record Keeping
- Work collaboratively with the project team to ensure proper documentation and event reporting for all project activities.
- Ensure timely collection of progress reports from facilities and assist the Team Leader in preparing quarterly reports as per donor requirements.
- Analyze project data using defined indicators to monitor performance and support evidence-based decision-making.
- Compile and analyze data generated from the Komlaphul Pharmacy Application, Digital Monitoring Tools and Baseline & Endline Survey Application to measure programme outcomes.
- Identify, document and share best practices, success stories and lessons learned for organizational knowledge management.
- Prepare periodic progress reports highlighting achievements, challenges and recommendations.
- Maintain proper records of programme documentation, meeting minutes, field visit findings and technical reports.
Required Skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good command of Bangla and English (written and spoken).
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Ability to work independently within tight deadlines.
