A UNFPA-funded project, with technical support by the Centre for Injury Prevention and Research, Bangladesh (CIPRB), is inviting applications from qualified and motivated candidates for the following position:

Position: District Coordinator

Number of Vacancies: 02 (Two)

Duty Stations:
• Sirajganj – 01 position
• Gaibandha – 01 position

Salary: BDT 44,000/- per month (consolidated)

Duration: 01 January 2026 to 31 December 2026

Job Description / Key Responsibilities:

1. Plan, coordinate, and oversee program activities at the district level.
2. Liaise with district administration, health facilities, NGOs, and relevant stakeholders.
3. Support identification, referral, and follow-up of beneficiaries at community and facility levels.
4. Organize district-level meetings, trainings, and coordination sessions.
5. Monitor field activities and ensure quality implementation of interventions.
6. Maintain records, data, and documentation, and submit regular progress reports.
7. Support awareness-raising and community mobilization activities.
8. Perform any other responsibilities assigned by the management.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Social Science, Public Health, or any relevant discipline.
2. Experience in maternal health, SRH, fistula, MNCH, or humanitarian/health projects will be an advantage.
3. Knowledge of obstetric fistula and community-based health interventions is preferred.
4. Strong communication, coordination, and reporting skills.
5. Willingness to travel frequently within the assigned district.
6. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
