📢 Recruitment Circular (Data Collector)

A UNICEF-funded project, technical support by CIPRB in Bangladesh, is inviting applications from qualified and motivated candidates for the following positions:

Position Details

Position Title: Data Collector

Number of Vacancies: 10 (Ten)

Salary: 1800 Taka per day (BDT) (consolidated)

Duration: 14 Days

Duty Stations

Sherpur, Kishorganj, Khagrachari, Kurigram,
Shirajganj, Bhola, Bagerhat, Sunamganj, Cox’s Bazar,
Cumilla

Job Description / Key Responsibilities

  1. Collect quantitative data from assigned districts using approved tools (questionnaires, checklists, digital apps, or paper forms).
  2. Conduct household surveys, facility assessments, interviews, and focus group discussions as per project guidelines.
  3. Ensure informed consent and ethical standards during all data collection activities.
  4. Travel regularly within assigned districts and upazilas to reach field locations.
  5. Maintain confidentiality and secure handling of sensitive information.
  6. Coordinate with district coordinators, supervisors, and project teams to plan field activities.
  7. Liaise with local health facilities, community leaders, and stakeholders during the data collection process.
  8. Report daily/weekly progress and field challenges to the supervisor.
  9. Submit regular field reports, including progress updates and observations.
  10. Participate in training, refresher sessions, and pre-survey orientations.

Required Qualifications & Experience

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Social Science or any relevant discipline.
  2. Prior experience in maternal health, Kangaroo Mother Care (KMC), or humanitarian/health projects will be an advantage.
  3. Community-based health interventions are preferred.
  4. Strong communication, coordination, and reporting skills.
  5. Willingness to travel frequently within the district.
  6. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
